Seniors play final home matches this weekend
Nov. 2, 2006 FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Volleyball team will host two ranked conference foes in their final home weekend of the 2006 season. It will conclude a stretch of three straight contests against opponents ranked in the Top-20. Friday night, league-leading and ninth-ranked Utah comes to town for a 7 p.m. match. On Saturday night, the Frogs will honor a trio of seniors in their final home match of their careers when they host the No. 18 BYU Cougars. Match time is slated for 7 p.m. and both will take place at the University Rec Center. The Frogs and Webstreaming: A Look At The TCU Seniors: Anna has tallied 1,399 kills in her career and averages 3.32 per game. She needs just four more aces to hold the all-time school record. As well as ranking fifth in blocks per game with an average of 0.88, Anna holds the second spot all-time with 369 career blocks. This season alone, Anna has paced the team all season in attack percentage (.354) and kills (361). She also leads the squad with 106 blocks, 20 of which are of the solo variety. Agi Nemeth: This season, Agi has played in 18 contests and averages 1.00 kill per game. She has pitched in with seven blocks, bringing her career total to 36. Emily Allen: She has had an outstanding career at TCU, finding herself in the top ten of most offensive categories. Currently she ranks third with 130 aces, just seven away from the all-time mark. Emily is a lifetime .277 hitter in 343 career games. She has totaled 822 kills, ranking 8th all-time and 175 blocks which puts her in ninth place all-time.
