FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs hit the road for a single match on Wednesday as they open up Mountain West Conference play at Colorado State at 8 p.m. (CST) The match is one of four for the team this as they will return home to host a four team tournament Friday and Saturday. TCU is currently in the midst of an eight match winning streak.

Series History
The Frogs and the Rams met three times on the court last season with the Rams taking all three, including handing the Frogs a season-ending loss in the MWC?Tournament. Colorado State has won four straight meetings. TCU's lone win was an exciting come-from-behind victory in Fort Worth on Oct. 25, 2006. Overall, Colorado State leads the series 8-1.

On The Road Again
TCU will hit the road for a single match this weekend against Colorado State. Under Head Coach Prentice Lewis, the Frogs own a record of 32-35 (.478). TCU will be looking for just its second league win on the road.

A Most Valuable Performance
Kourtney Edwards was named the Molten/LaQuinta Most Valuable Player after putting together four outstanding contests. On the weekend, the sophomore hit .509 with 67 kills, an average of 4.19 per game. She also led the team with 24 blocks, an average of 1.50 per game.

A Big Splash
Christy Hudson made a huge impact in the five games last week, establishing career highs and tallying her first career double-double. She posted three double-digit kill matches, including a career-high 15 against Denver. In two matches on Friday, the freshman did not record an error and picked up 19 kills on 27 swings (.703). Her .765 hitting percentage against New Orleans was third-highest in school history.

Matching A Record
Last season through 11 games, the Frogs stood at 10-1 and they have matched that feat again in 2007.

Racking Up the WWWWWWWW's
TCU is in the midst of an eight-match winning streak. Its lone loss of the season came on Aug. 25 at Florida State. The winning streak is just one short of tying a school record set back in 2003. TCU put together an eight-game winning streak in 2005.

Goin' The Distance
Three times this season, the Frogs have gone the distance in matches and all three times, the Frogs have come out on the positive side with victories. They have five-set victories over Florida Gulf Coast, Cincinnati and Denver. They are 35-25 (.583) all-time in matches that go to game No. 5.

Glorious September
TCU has enjoyed the month of September thus far as they are 7-0 in the month. September has by far been the best month for the Horned Frogs under Prentice Lewis as she has 52 of her 98 career victories in the month.
