Frogs drop contest versus Air Force

The TCU volleyball team fell to Air Force (23-30, 24-30, 29-31) Sunday afternoon at Cadet East Gym. Sophomore Loren Barry tallied 10 digs and registered three service aces.
The Frogs struggled with their offense in game one, but freshman Devon Kirk came in to help the team develop some rhythm. The Katy, Texas, product registered three kills in the early going.
TCU came out firing in game two led by a pair of aces from Barry. Air Force's Kristin Hamlett continued to pose a threat for the Frogs as she made big kills down the middle and finished the match with 16 kills while hitting .333.
Down 2-0 after the intermission, the Frogs battled valiantly but were unable to sustain the pressure applied by the Falcons.
With the loss, TCU fell to 15-13 on the season. The team returns to action on Friday when they host San Diego State for senior night at 7 p.m.
