• Played for Sue Cauley at Arlington High School.

• Was the area's ace leader in 2002 and was named to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's all-area second team in 2003.
• Awarded first-team all-district mention in 2002 and 2003.
• Named to the StudentSports.com Frosh 40 (2002) and was an AAU All-American (2003).
• Gained club experience with Texas Advantage Volleyball (1999-2001, 2003-04) and North Dallas Juniors Volleyball (2001-03).
