TCU senior Ana Cetnik and sophomore Anna Sydorska were crowned the women's tennis national champion runner-ups after falling 8-3 in the finale of the 2006 ITA National Indoor Doubles Championship on Sunday, Nov. 5.

The TCU women concluded an impressive run at the national championship title this week after knocking off the top-seeded pair in the first round and the No. 8 duo in the nation in the quarterfinals.

Cetnik and Sydorska, ranked No. 24 in the ITA preseason rankings, concluded the fall campaign with an outstanding 11-2 record. They won the Baylor Invitational and Wilson/ITA Southwest Regional Championship during the fall. They are the first duo in TCU history to advance to the doubles finals of the national indoor championships.
