Fort Worth, Texas - The TCU women's tennis team returns to action this weekend at the Hilton Houston Plaza Rice Tennis Classic. The Frogs are sending five players, senior Paige Brown, sophomore Lizzy Kenfield and freshmen Andrea Morgado, Melissa Berè and Lindsay McBride, to Houston to compete in the tournament that features players from eight schools.

In the opening round, Morgado will square off with Rice's Blair DiSesa in the Blue Singles Draw. Last weekend, she won the Flight A Singles Draw at the North Texas Invitational when she defeated Ina Wieding of Tyler JC in straight sets 6-0, 6-4.

Morgado will also team up with Brown for the second straight week in doubles play where they will face Christine Dao and Tracie Chong of Rice in the opening round of the Blue Draw. The pair won the Flight A Doubles last weekend in North Texas when they defeated Wieding and Ame Blacketer of Tyler JC 8-4 in the finals.

In singles play, Brown will face Andrea Yung of Northwestern in the Gray Draw. Also in the draw, Berè opens with Rashmee Patil of Yale, Kenfield plays Rice's Kimberley Patenaude and McBride squares off with SMU's Jenn Chay. Chay was a member of the Horned Frogs a year ago.

In Gray Doubles, Kenfield and Bere will face Hall and Beavera of Lee College to get things underway. This weekend is Kenfield's first action of the fall season.
