Ana Cetnik from the TCU women's tennis team advanced to the quarterfinals of an International Tennis Federation event in Matamoros, Mexico, on Thursday. Besovic defeated Erika Clarke in three sets, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, while Cetnik was a 6-3, 6-3 winner over Nina Pantic.
In doubles play, Ana Cetnik and her former collegiate partner Story Tweedie-Yates registered a 6-2, 6-1 decision over Lorena Villalobos and Sayaka Yoshino to move into the semifinals.
