Fort Worth, Texas - The No. 18 TCU women's tennis team earned an at-large bid to compete in the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships, it was announced this afternoon on ESPNews. The Frogs will travel to New Orleans, La., where they will face No. 44 LSU on Friday, May 13 in the Round of 64. The match time has yet to be determined.

"We're really excited about the opportunity to play in the NCAA Regional," said Head Coach Dave Borelli. "We have a tough draw, so we're going to have to really prepare the next week. We need to make sure that we're not looking past our first round opponent, because we will be facing a solid LSU team."

The championship's No. 14 seed, Tulane, will serve as the host to the First and Second Rounds on its home courts at the Goldring Tennis Complex. The Green Wave will play Southeastern Louisiana in their opening match.

TCU, the Conference USA runner-up, enters the NCAA Championships with a 20-4 record on the year. This season appearance is the Frogs' second straight and their eighth overall in the history of the program.
