Fort Worth, Texas - The TCU women's tennis team jumped three spots to 17th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings that were released this afternoon. The previous two weeks the Frogs had come in as the 20th best team in the country.
In singles, Story Tweedie-Yates climbed six spots from 25th to 19th. The senior has a 27-4 overall record this season, which includes a 12-4 mark against ranked opponents. Junior Helena Besovic, who is 28-8, also moved up four spots in the rankings to 52nd.
In doubles, sophomore Ana Cetnik and Tweedie-Yates fell nine spots from 36th to 44th in the rankings. The pair dropped despite the fact that they are on a nine-match winning streak to have a 15-1 overall record this spring.
