Women's Tennis Hosts No. 56 South Alabama in Home Finale Tuesday
April 5, 2004 FORT WORTH, Texas - The 29th-ranked Horned Frogs host their final home match of 2004 on Tuesday, April 6 as No. 56 South Alabama brings a 9-8 mark to the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center for a 2:00 p.m. contest. The Frogs are currently sporting a 13-6 overall record and riding an 11-match winning streak which began on February 28 as they defeated then-No. 54 Tulsa, 6-1. The match will be the last contest at the Bernard "Tut" Bartzen Varsity Courts for TCU seniors Paty Aburto and Saber Pierce. The third senior on the squad, Rebecca Reynolds, is studying abroad this semester. The Jaguars lead the overall series by a 2-1 count. The last meeting between the schools was on April 4, 2003, when South Alabama claimed the 5-2 victory in Fort Worth.
TCU will conclude the regular season on Wednesday, April 7 when they travel to Arlington for a 2:00 p.m. match against local-foe UT-Arlington.
