FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 46 TCU women's tennis team (8-7) will play host to No. 25 VCU (17-4) on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The match will be TCU's last contest before entering conference play on March 29.

The Frogs are coming off of a 6-1 defeat of Kansas State on Monday, while the Rams most recently fell 5-2 at No. 26 Pepperdine on March 16.

According to the latest Fila/ITA poll released on Tuesday, the Frogs currently have three singles players and a doubles team that are ranked nationally. Ana Cetnik leads the way at No. 41, followed by Anna Sydorska at No. 54 and Nina Munch-Soegaard at No. 84. The tandem of Cetnik and Sydorska moved up one spot to No. 6 in the nation.

The Rams feature one singles player and a doubles team that are currently ranked in the poll. Tatsiana Uvarova comes in at No. 26, while the doubles team of Olga Borisova and Marianna Yuferova are ranked No. 2 in the nation.

Friday's marquee matchup will occur when the No. 6 duo of Cetnik and Sydorska meet the No. 2 tandem of Borisova and Yuferova at the No. 1 position.

The two teams have only met once in the series, with VCU taking a 5-1 decision on May 19, 2000, in the first round of the NCAA Regionals in Nashville, Tenn.
