FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU women's tennis players Ana Cetnik, Nina Munch-Soegaard and Anna Sydorska all remained in the national individual rankings released on Tuesday by Fila/ITA. The women's team grabbed the No. 46 ranking in the nation.

Cetnik received the highest singles ranking for the women at No. 41, followed by Sydorska at No. 54 and Munch-Soegaard at No. 84. Cetnik, a senior from Belgrade, Serbia, has defeated three ranked opponents this season playing primarily at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions.

Sydorska made a dramatic climb in the polls, jumping fifty spots to No. 54, after putting together a 10-match winning streak that spanned from Feb. 7 to March 14.

Munch-Soegaard, a freshman from Amarillo, Texas, remained at the No. 84 spot from the last ranking on March 6. Munch-Soegaard currently leads the team with 12 wins, and is 4-2 against ranked opponents this season.

The duo of Cetnik and Sydorska also gained recognition, jumping up one spot to No. 6 in the nation. The tandem picked up a big win on March 17 against the No. 3 duo of Babos and Fodor from California, and will go up against the No. 2 pair of Borisova and Yuferova of VCU on Friday night.

The women, who are currently 8-7 on the season, will return to the courts on Friday at 5 p.m. to host No. 25 VCU at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
