No. 26 TCU women's tennis hosts Oklahoma, travels to No. 42 Texas A&M
March 7, 2006 FORT WORTH, Texas - After knocking off No. 39 Fresno State 5-2 on Sunday, the No. 26 TCU women's tennis team returns to action with a home match versus Oklahoma on Wednesday and a Thursday matchup with No. 42 Texas A&M in College Station. Match times are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively. Oklahoma is 4-4 on the season and is coming off a 7-0 defeat at the hands of UNLV on Saturday in Las Vegas. Prior to the UNLV match, the Sooners dropped a 6-1 decision to Fresno State on Feb. 19 in California. TCU owns a 15-11 all-time series advantage and prevailed in the last meeting by a score of 5-2 in Norman on March 30, 2005. Texas A&M dropped a 4-3 contest to Fresno State on Saturday to fall to 5-5 on the year. TCU owns a slight 19-15 advantage in the series that dates back to 1976. In the last meeting between the two institutions on Feb. 17, 2005, TCU battled its way to a 5-2 home win. Wednesday's contest is only the fourth home match for the Frogs this season, where they are 3-0, and it will be their last before embarking on a four-match road swing.
