TCU women's tennis set for showdown with No. 13 Baylor

FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 17 TCU women's tennis team will host No. 13 Baylor on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The Frogs are currently 4-3 overall, while the Bears hold a record of 4-4.

The Frogs are currently coming off of a 6-1 victory over No. 63 Mississippi, while Baylor's last match was also a win over the Rebels.

The stars will be out on Tuesday, as the two teams combine for five nationally ranked singles players. TCU features No. 23 Ana Cetnik, No. 60 Nina Munch-Soegaard and No. 88 Anna Sydorska, while Zuzana Zemenova (No. 33) and Lenka Broosova (No. 76) are ranked for Baylor.

The doubles tandem of Cetnik and Sydorska are also ranked No. 3 in the nation, with a 4-1 record. The duo of Munch-Soegaard and Kewa Nichols has also been consistent performers for the Frogs, recording a mark of 6-1 on the season.

The two teams have met 25 times dating back to 1976, with the Frogs holding a 17-8 advantage. The teams last met a year ago, when TCU fell 4-3 in Waco.

Tuesday's match will mark the last time the women will play at home until March 19, as the Frogs will play six consecutive road contests.
