TCU duo falls in second round at Riviera/ITA All-American Championships

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - The TCU women's tennis doubles duo of Nina Munch-Soegaard and Kewa Nichols fell in the second round of the prequalifying draw on Sunday at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships.

The Frogs were defeated 8-4 by Yale's Lindsay Clark and Lauren Ritz after securing an 8-5 victory over Denver's Voelker and Schnoy in the opening round on Saturday.

Nichols also competed in the singles prequalifying draw on Saturday, knocking off No. 9-16 seed Maria Sanchez of USC before falling in the second round to Megan Fudge of Illinois.

Munch-Soegaard, Macall Harkins and Anna Sydorska will all begin play on Tuesday in the singles qualifying draw. Harkins and Sydorska will also team up and compete in the doubles qualifying draw on Tuesday.
