TCU women's tennis completes the second day of play at the Baylor Invitational

WACO, Texas - After the second day of competition at the Baylor Fall Invitational, the Frogs' top-seeded doubles team of Ana Cetnik and Anna Sydorska remains strong and will play in the semifinals of the Gold Draw on Sunday beginning at 8 a.m.

The Cetnik/Sydorska pair, ranked No. 24 in the nation, will face Tulsa's Carla Zabalita and Kindsay Grimes in the semifinals. The Horned Frogs' duo overpowered Baylor's Iva Miyalova and Jana Bielikova, 8-4, in the quarterfinals.

The Horned Frogs' Kewa Nichols and Karine Fonesco face Santie Delporte and Marta Marcinkouska in consolation play on Sunday at 8 a.m.

Nichols was also the lone TCU player left in singles action. She fell 6-0, 6-0 to former national champion and top-seeded Zuzara Zemenova (Baylor) in the quarterfinals of the Gold Draw.
