Matamoros, Mexico - TCU senior Story Tweedie-Yates advanced in the round of 32 of main draw at the Matamoros Tournament in Matamoros, Mexico, this afternoon.

Playing in her first career match for the Frogs, Tweedie-Yates defeated the tournament's No. 4 seed in the Netherland's Dominique Van Boekel (1-6, 6-0, 6-2). Coming into the match, Van Boekel was the No. 613 ranked player on the WTA Circuit.

Tweedie-Yates will return to the court tomorrow when she is among the final 16 players still alive in the tournament.
