FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 41 TCU women's tennis team moved to 3-0 in Mountain West Conference play with a tough 5-2 victory over No. 56 UNLV on Sunday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. The Horned Frogs improved to 12-7 overall, while UNLV dropped to 15-5 on the season, and 4-1 in conference play.

The doubles team of Nina Munch-Soegaard and Kewa Nichols kicked off the afternoon with an 8-5 defeat of UNLV's Nikol Dimitrova and Linda Temelfelde at the No. 2 position. The No. 6 tandem of Ana Cetnik and Anna Sydorska fell to No. 35 Elena Gantcheva and Kristina Nedeltcheva, 8-5, and UNLV clinched the match as Claire Smith and Alisa Razina defeated Karine Ionesco and Andrea Morgado, 8-6.
