2011-12 (SOPHOMORE SEASON): Solid contributor in the middle of TCU's singles lineup ... Went 15-7 overall and 10-5 during the spring season ... Qualified for the NCAA doubles championships with Olivia Smith giving TCU a doubles team in the field in seven of the last eight years ... Was Nichols' second-straight trip to the NCAA Championships after qualifying while at Tennessee as a freshman ... Won her first three matches of the spring season ... Closed the year on a five-match winning streak ... All three of her wins in the conference season came via straight sets ... Grabbed a gutsy 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (8) triumph at No. 14 Alabama ... Bettered Rice's Kimberly Anicete, 6-4, 6-0 ... Both of her matches at the conference tournament were unfinished despite having large leads in both ... Scored TCU's lone point at the NCAA Championships, a 6-2, 6-2 win over South Carolina's Dominika Kanakova ... Went 5-2 during the fall season ... Claimed the consolation bracket of the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational ... Had two wins at the USTA/ITA Texas Regionals ... Played all of her doubles matches in the fall and spring with Olivia Smith ... Duo went 19-7 overall and 11-4 in the spring ... Won five matches at the USTA/ITA Texas Regionals in the fall to claim the title ... Knocked off Texas A&M's Cristina Sanchez-Quintanar and Sun Wen in the finals ... Advanced to the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships where they bettered Nicole Bartnik and Crystal Leung of Columbia ... Opened the spring ranked No. 31 in the nation and No. 1 in the state of Texas ... Won their first two matches of the spring ... Went 4-1 during the conference regular season ... Had a key win over San Diego State's Roxanne Ellison and Sierra Ellison in the Mountain West title match to clinch the doubles point.
Prior to TCU (At Tennessee): Racked up a 27-13 overall singles record as a freshman, including a 17-8 record during the dual season ... Was 8-3 against SEC competition ... Was 12-6 during the dual season in doubles ... Was ranked in the ITA top-30 with two different doubles partners.
