All-Conference Squad

PROVO, Utah - TCU soccer player's Angie Nickens and Lizzy Karoly were named second-team all-Mountain West on Tuesday night.

In her final season as a Horned Frog, Nickens has started all 18 games and led TCU to its most conference wins under head coach Dan Abdalla. She has scored two goals on the year, including the game-winner against New Mexico. The Dallas native also dished out an assist in a 3-0 victory over Utah on Oct. 26 to close out her home career at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.

Karoly picks up her first all-conference award after a solid sophomore campaign in which she netted five goals and two assists. Karoly, who scored four game-winning goals during the regular season, finished fourth during conference play in shots and shots per game, while also finishing fifth in the MWC in goals during Mountain West action.

TCU will begin Mountain West Tournament play tomorrow with a match against BYU. Start time for the match is set for 4 p.m. (MT) in Provo, Utah.
