Fort Worth, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs soccer team will host the TCU Tournament this weekend featuring the Oklahoma Sooners, the Baylor Bears and the SMU Lady Mustangs. The tournament is set to begin on Friday, with two matches and the a single match on Sunday.

TCU is coming off a road loss to SMU, as they fell 4-2 Tuesday to the Lady Mustangs. The Frogs led that game 2-1 late in the game, but gave up three goals in the last 23 minutes of the game to pick up their second loss of the season. Ashley Fortune and Amy Van Zandt each scored a goal in the contest.

Buchanan Named to C-USA Honor Roll
*Goalkeeper Katie Buchanan had a strong week in goal last week as she shutout opponents in both games she played. She played the second half against Centenary on Wednesday, but didn't face a shot. She started and played all 96:12 of the contest with Texas Tech, making three saves.

First Timers
*On Tuesday, two Frogs picked up their first goal at TCU and another earned her first point at TCU. Ashley Fortune and Amy Van Zandt scored the two goals in a 4-2 loss to SMU. Kelly Potysman assisted on the first goal of the night earning her first point as a Frog.

Familiar Territory
*On Sunday, the Horned Frogs found themselves in familiar territory, playing an overtime game. The results were much different as they picked up the 1-0 victory on Jenny Swanson's header with over three minutes remaining in the first OT. In 2002, in six overtime matches, the Frogs went 0-1-5.

TCU vs. Oklahoma History
* The Horned Frogs and the Sooners will meet for the 7th time in the school's history. Oklahoma holds a 4-2 advantage all-time having won the last three meetings. The Frogs last victory against the Sooners came on September 18, 1999, a 1-0 victory in Fort Worth. Oklahoma is 1-2 in Fort Worth.

Scouting The Sooners
*After opening the season with two wins the Oklahoma Sooners have dropped its last two matches. They dropped a 2-1 decision to Rutgers at the Notre Dame Invitational and fell to the host school, No. 5 Notre Dame 5-1. The Sooners are led offensively by Becky Nelson's six points (two goals and four assists). Goalkeeper Catherine Wade has started all four matches with a 2.22 goals against average, having made 23 saves this season.

TCU vs. Baylor History
*Sunday's meeting with the Bears will mark the 8th meeting between the two teams. Baylor holds a 4-2-1 advantage, having won the last four meetings. This will be the first meeting in two years, as they last time TCU face Baylor came on September 17, 2001, a 3-1 Baylor win.

Scouting The Bears
*The Baylor Bears have started out the season strong, picking up three victories in their first four games, with their only loss of the season coming in overtime to Utah. They are led offensively by Ginny Rosario-Tull who has collected six goals this season. Goalkeeper Monica Housden has played every minute in goal for the Bears and has picked up two shutouts to go with her 1.43 goals against average.
