Day Two Photo Gallery

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU soccer team continued its preparations for the 2007 season on Tuesday at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium. Below are comments from senior forward Lesley Parkinson on the second day of fall camp.

TCU will open its regular season Aug. 31 against Texas. The Horned Frogs will have two exhibition matches against Stephen F. Austin on Aug. 22 and Oklahoma State on Aug. 25.

On practice...
"The past couple of days have gone really well. The team is meshing together well. At times, I think we get mentally exhausted, but everyone has been helping each other out."

On team goals...
"Our main goal is to win a conference championship. During the preseason, our goal has been to learn how to play together as a team."

On her leadership role this fall...
"I think it is really big because we have to set fourth a good example for all the new faces in camp. All the upperclassmen have done a really good job of making sure the team stays positive."

On the conference...
"Our conference is going to be tough no matter who you are."

On the newcomers...
"They should only make us stronger and better. I am really excited about our incoming class."
