FORT WORTH, Texas - With preseason camp continuing this week, GoFrogs.com recently caught up with redshirt freshman Kaylie Garcia to talk about the upcoming 2008 season.
What did you do this summer for the upcoming season?
"This summer I went back home and played for my club team and Oklahoma WPSL team."
What do you expect this season from the team?
"I excpect a lot of good things from our team this season because we have so many good players returning and coming in. Even though we are a young team, we are bonding well on and off the field. I'm really excited."
What do you like to do off the field?
"Off the field, I like to hang out with my friends, listen to my iPod, watch One Tree Hill and sleep."
If you could be on a television show for one day, what would it be and why?
"I probably would have to pick The Price is Right because I love that show. I could also win some cool stuff."
Who is you favorite soccer player and why?
"My favorite soccer player is probably David Beckham. He is really good."
If you could play any sport other then soccer, what would it be and why?
"It would probably have to be volleyball because I used to play it when I was younger."
How excited are you for this season after sitting out last fall?
"I am actually very excited about this season because it was really hard sitting out last year. I can't wait till I start playing again. Our team is going to be really good this year. I'm pumped."
