TCU Soccer releases spring schedule

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU soccer program released its 2009 spring schedule on Friday. The eight-match schedule consists of five home matches at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.
The spring schedule is dotted with two matches against team's that made the NCAA Tournament in 2008 and three Big 12 schools.
The Horned Frogs will open their spring season at home with an alumni match on Saturday, Jan. 31. On Feb. 7, the Horned Frogs will play against Navarro and Richland at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.
Following its three home matches, TCU will travel to Austin to face off against 2008 NCAA qualifier Miami and Big 12 member Oklahoma on Saturday, Feb. 28.
TCU will open the month of March on Saturday, March 7 at home against North Texas, who went 15-4-1 during the fall. The Horned Frogs will then travel to College Station on March 29 to take on Texas A&M, who lost in the quarterfinals of the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament to eventual NCAA Champion North Carolina.
TCU will put the wraps on its spring slate on April 4 at home against Texas Tech. The Purple and White defeated the Red Raiders this fall, 3-2.
