EL PASO, Texas -- The TCU women's soccer team (5-5-0, 2-2-0 C-USA) won consecutive matches for the first time this season with a 2-1 win in double overtime against the UTEP Miners (2-5-1) Tuesday afternoon at El Paso, Texas. This was the first time the Frogs have played UTEP away from Fort Worth in their six meetings, with TCU now owning a 4-2 edge head-to-head.

TCU senior forward Jenn Coulson scored the game's first goal in the 28th minute to give the Frogs the early 1-0 advantage. The goal was Coulson's third of the year and her second in as many games.

The Frogs clung to their precarious 1-0 lead until UTEP struck back early in the second half when Kate Stevens scored an unassisted goal to bring her season total to three.

Deadlocked at 1-1, TCU and UTEP headed to overtime where neither team managed to score in the first 15-minute period. The Miners outshot the Frogs 3-2 in the period and finished with an 18-15 overall edge.

TCU freshman forward Laura Greenberg, who sat out the Frogs' last two matches with a concussion suffered against Saint Louis on September 23, ended the game in the second overtime with her team-high fifth goal of the season. The California-native has now scored at least one goal in the last four matches in which she has appeared. Her goal on Tuesday was also the first game-winning goal of her career.

TCU head coach Dave Rubinson said of Greenberg's performance this year, "She has been a huge asset to us this year and will continue to play a big role on this team the rest of the season."

The Horned Frogs will continue play this Friday at Shreveport, Louisiana, when they face the Centenary Ladies at 3 p.m.
