Ole Miss Stifles Frogs at UAB Nike Classic
Sept. 9, 2001
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (September 9, 2001) -- The Ole Miss Rebels (2-2) defeated the TCU women's soccer team (2-2) 2-0 Sunday morning at the UAB Nike Classic to finish 2-0 in the tournament. The Horned Frogs return to Fort Worth having finished with a 1-1 record in the tournament.
After 35 scoreless minutes, Mississippi's Karen Hall scored her first goal of the season from eight yards out on a slow-roller that snuck past TCU goalkeeper Shannon Wagner.
