Elin Emanuelsson carded a 1-over-par 73 to tie for 21st individually, while the TCU women's golf team is in 14th place after Monday's opening round of the Las Vegas Founders Collegiate Showdown at the Anthem Country Club.
Emanuelsson, a senior from Nacka, Sweden, is four strokes behind leader Sarah Bradley of Oklahoma State.
TCU shot a 15-over 303 and is just 11 shots behind Arizona State and Oklahoma State, tied for the lead after 4-over-par 292s.
Catherine Matranga had a 76 for TCU, while freshmen Megan O'Donnell and Ashley Watkins and senior Camille Blackerby all recorded 77s.
The tournament continues Tuesday with teams slated to tee off holes one and 10 at 10:30 a.m. (CST). Live scoring is available at www.golfstatresults.com.
