Women's Golf in Texas' Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational

Fort Worth, Texas - The TCU women's golf team hits the road again to participate in the University of Texas' 2004 Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational. Texas and TCU are joined by 16 other schools: Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Kansas, Kansas State, UNLV, North Carolina, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Purdue, USC, SMU, Texas A&M, Tulsa, and Vanderbilt.

The tournament will be held at the 6,247 yard, par 72 The Hills Country Club Golf Course. Last year's indivdual titlest came from the host school: Jessica Reese (67-72-73=212, -4). The tournament consists of three rounds in three days or 18 holes a day, Sunday and Monday, beginning at 8 a.m., with teams teeing off from both holes No.1 and No.10. Tuesday's final 18-hole round of play begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
