FORT WORTH, Texas -- The 29th-ranked TCU women's golf team begins play Monday at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin.

The 54-hole tournament, featuring 18 holes each day, is held at the par 72, 6,344-yard University of Texas Golf Club. Live scoring is available at www.golfstat.com.

Joining TCU and host No. 33 Texas in the 17-team field are No. 5 Florida, No. 10 Arkansas, No. 20 Notre Dame, No. 28 New Mexico, No. 34 Ohio State, No. 41 Oklahoma, No. 43 Missouri, No. 44 Iowa State, No. 45 Nebraska, No. 47 Indiana, No. 49 Kansas, No. 68 Kansas State, No. 69 Wisconsin, No. 79 SMU and No. 81 Baylor.

The Horned Frogs, who have posted four top-10 finishes in six tournaments this season, will be playing in the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational for the fifth straight spring and eighth time in the last nine years.

TCU was second in last year's event with Valentine Derrey and Carrie Morris finishing 14th and 36th, respectively.

Derrey and Morris will be joined in this weekend's TCU lineup by freshmen Prisela Campbell, Allyson Ferguson and Melissa Loh.

Derrey, the lone Frog to play in all six tournaments this season, places second in the Mountain West Conference with a 73.8 stroke average. The sophomore from Paris, France, ranks 18th nationally by Golfweek.

Campbell, Loh and Morris will be participating in their sixth tournament. Ferguson is second on the team with a 77.1 stroke average in 11 rounds. Campbell is third at 77.3 followed by Morris (77.5) and Loh (78.7).

In their last event, the Frogs tied for eighth at the Texas A&M "Mo"morial (March 7-9) in Bryan.
