Off the Tee with Megan O'Donnell

FORT WORTH, Texas--Megan O'Donnell brings experience and drive to this year's Frog squad.
A native of Houston, Texas, O'Donnell loves her home state. A junior on the women's golf team she has played in 10 tournaments in her career as a Frog. She has collected one top-10 and one top-20 finish as well. Head coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin says O'Donnell has worked extremely hard on her swing and mental toughness. Below is an inside look at O'Donnell:
When did you start playing golf? Why?
I started playing when I was a freshman in high school. My dad would take me to the course to teach me. I enjoyed it so I stayed with it.
What is your favorite golf memory?
My favorite golf memory was playing Pebble Beach and Spyglass in the freezing weather with my dad and Granddad.
If you could play any course what would it be?
I would really like to play Dubai.
What do you do to prepare before each round?
Before each round I laugh.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I want to be a vegetarian someday.
Who would you like in your foursome for a scramble?
My foursome would include my dad, Granddad, and Sean Hannity.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Nothing can hold you back from your dreams and what you can accomplish.
Why did you choose TCU?
It is a perfect fit for me academically and I enjoy Fort Worth. I also like being in Texas.
What is your biggest fear?
I am afraid of being outside when there is lighting.
How would your teammates describe you?
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can do a backbend!
