Cardno Has Career-Best Round

AUSTIN, Texas -- TCU's Katy Cardno shot a career-best 72 to lead the Horned Frogs in second-round action Monday at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational. TCU posted a 297 to lower its score by 14 strokes from Sunday's opening round. The Horned Frogs are 14th heading into Tuesday's final round which will begin with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring is available at www.Golfstat.com. Cardno, the lone senior on the Horned Frogs, closed play Monday with her second birdie of the day. She recorded par on 14 of 18 holes. Alexandra Bonetti equaled her season-best round with a 73 for TCU. The sophomore from Paris, France, had three birdies in a four-hole stretch en route to a team-best four birdies on the day. April McCoy and Sanna Nuutinen added a 75 and 77, respectively, for TCU. No. 4 Florida and No. 10 Alabama are tied for the team lead with a 3-under-par 573. The Gators' Camilla Hedberg and the Crimson Tide's Jennifer Kirby are deadlocked for the individual lead with a 6-under 138 through 36 holes. Team Scores TCU Scores
