Sanna Nuutinen shot a team-best 76 as the Horned Frogs are 13th after Sunday's opening round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational.
Nuutinen had a pair of birdies on the back nine. The junior from Helsinki, Finland, is tied for 39th individually.
Freshman Maria Maymon carded a 77 for the Horned Frogs, while April McCoy and Alexandra Bonetti both recorded a 79.
Tenth-ranked Alabama shot a 4-under-par 284 for a four-stroke lead over No. 19 Arkansas.
Tulsa's Shu-Yin Liu holds the individual lead after a 4-under 68. She's one stroke up on a trio of golfers.
