The TCU women's golf team finished in a tie for seventh place at the 2001 Furman Lady Paladin Invitational after posting a third-round score of 310. Combined with their previous totals of 304 and 306, the Frogs final team score was 920. 2000 champion Auburn successfully defended their title with a three-day total of 893. Brooke Tull's continued strong play led to her 13th place finish as she posted a 77 on the final day.
Tull, whose three-day total was 226, finished only one shot out of a tie for tenth place. Lori Sutherland carded a third-round 77 to finish in a tie for 27th, while Shannon Barr's final round 79 placed her in a tie for 31st. Jennifer Patterson shot a 78 on the day to finish in a tie for 35th, and D'Rae Ward also posted a 78 to tie for 60th.
The Frogs have finished their fall tournament schedule and will resume play on February 11-13, 2002 at the TRW Regional Challenge.
