Sanna Nuutinen shot a final-round 73 to finish ninth, while the Horned Frogs were 10th as play concluded Wednesday at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic in Norman, Okla.
TCU's 299 represented its best round of the tournament and tied for the seventh-lowest score on the day. Three Horned Frog golfers dropped their score by at least four strokes from Tuesday's second round.
Nuutinen recorded the fifth top-10 result of her career. The junior from Helsinki, Finland, birdied her opening hole en route to three birdies on the day.
TCU sophomore April McCoy had a pair of birdies on the back nine for a final-round 74.
Alexandra Bonetti shot par on 13 holes for her second straight 75 for TCU. Katy Cardno birdied back-to-back holes on the back nine as part of three birdies in carding a 77.
No. 18 and host Oklahoma shot a 5-under-par 859 to win the team title by 29 strokes over No. 20 Notre Dame. The Sooners' Chirapat Jao-Javanil was at 7-under 209 to take medalist honors.
TCU's final fall tournament begins Oct. 28 at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas.
