Horned Frogs Conclude Play in Austin

AUSTIN, Texas -- TCU's Sanna Nuutinen and Alex White both carded an even-par 72 as the Horned Frogs tied for 11th after Tuesday's final round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational.
TCU, concluding its fourth tournament in a 23-day stretch, shot a 7-over 295 for a nine-stroke improvement over Monday's second round. The Horned Frogs finished at 890.
White tied for 14th individually with a 1-over 215. It marked a season-best result for the freshman from Fort Worth. Her three birdies for the day came on an eight-hole stretch.
Nuutinen began play with a birdie, one of three on the day. The Horned Frogs' lone senior tied for 27th with a 218.
Maxoutopoulis shot par on her opening 11 holes and on 16 altogether. Sborov birdied two of her final three holes.
Top-ranked UCLA won the team title with a 22-under 842, six shots ahead of No. 11 Arizona State. The Bruins' Alison Lee took medalist honors at 12-under 204.
TCU will conclude its fall schedule when it begins play Oct. 27 at the Alamo Invitational in San Antonio.
