TCU in Title Hunt at LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Sanna Nuutinen's even-par 72 helped lead TCU into a tie for third after Friday's opening round of the LSU Tiger Golf Classic. The Horned Frogs' 301 has them just eight strokes behind eighth-ranked and leader Arkansas. The Razorbacks' 293 is five shots ahead of No. 25 Tulane. Ten of the 14 teams in the LSU Tiger Golf Classic are ranked in the top 50. Nuutinen is tied for fourth individually. The junior from Helsinki, Finland, shot par on each hole of the back nine and is just one stroke behind a trio of golfers tied for the lead at 71. TCU sophomore Alexandra Bonetti is two shots off the pace and tied for eighth individually after a 73. The Paris, France, native recorded three birdies on the front nine and a team-best five on the day.
