HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. -- The TCU women's golf team finished 12th as play concluded Sunday at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.
Alexandra Bonetti had TCU's low score on the day with a 75. The sophomore from Paris, France, birdied 14 holes in tying teammate Kortnie Maxoutopoulis for 32nd individually. Maxoutopoulis recorded a team-best three birdies Sunday.
TCU's Katy Cardno and April McCoy had their best rounds of the tournament with a 77 and 78, respectively.
No. 4 Alabama captured the team title with an 876, four shots ahead of No. 35 LSU and No. 11 Vanderbilt. Eight of the 15 teams in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate field are ranked in Golfstat's top 20 with 13 in the top 50.
Arizona State's Noemi Jimenez carded a 4-under-par 209 to take medalist honors by four strokes over LSU's Madelene Sagstrom.
TCU returns to action March 22, when it begins play at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La.
