Frogs tie for eighth at "Mo"morial

BRYAN, Texas -- The 24th-ranked TCU women's golf team placed in a tie for eighth as play concluded Sunday at the Texas A&M "Mo"morial at Traditions Golf Club. The Horned Frogs posted their fourth top-10 finish in six tournaments this season. Valentine Derrey was the top Frog as she tied for 16th with a 24-over-par 240. TCU freshman and Fort Worth native Prisela Campbell tied for 27th with a 246. Michigan State, led by medalist Sara Brown, shot a 931 to take the team championship by nine shots over Denver. Brown finished with a 5-over 221 for an eight-stroke victory. The Frogs return to action March 17 when they begin play at the Betsy Rawls Invitational in Austin. Team Scores TCU Scores
