Horned Frogs Finish in Sixth at the Conclusion of the Tulane Invitational

New Orleans, La. - A cold, wet day did not slow down Camille Blackerby as the TCU freshman fought her way to a 12th place finish at the NOKIA Sugar Bowl/Tulane Invitational in New Orleans, La. The Frogs maintained their sixth place for the finale.

Blackerby, a Breckinridge, Texas, native, shot an 80 following yesterday's 78 and 77 on the par-72, 6,075-yard English Turn Golf and Country Club course. Swedish freshman Elin Emanuelsson managed to stay in the top-20 tied at 19th, having shot an 83 in the unfavorable weather.

Tulane freshman Mary Ellen Jacobs kept her lead after the second day, finishing three-over par, three shots ahead of her closest competition. As a team, Tulane finished first with 288-301-306 totals, 36 over par.
