•Made her TCU debut in the opening tournament of the season.

•Earned medalist honors in six of her seven spring tournaments.
•Placed second in her other event.
•Captured the Lady Thunderbird Invitational by nine strokes, shooting a 75-73=148.
•Carried a 74.7 stroke average, the second-best mark by a women's golfer in Mesa Community College history.
•Became the sixth consecutive MCC player to be named the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
•Led MCC to its seventh-consecutive trip to the national tournament.

High School Highlights
•Three-year letterwinner in golf.

•Attended the University of Nevada in Fall 2005.
•A news-editorial journalism major with a minor in Spanish and French.
•Parents are Don and Maria Schams.
•Has a younger sister, Andrea, who plays tennis at the University of Redlands.
•Enjoys going to drag races, reading and playing card games.
