FORT WORTH, Texas-The TCU equestrian team finished up its three-day SEC road trip Sunday as it fell in a tiebreaker to Georgia 1354-1349.

The two teams tied in overall match points, with each winning ten matches. After each school dropped its lowest score from the Western and English events, the raw scores were used to settle the tie.

Senior Jessica Bailey earned an MVP in the Western Horsemanship event with a score of 77.5. Bailey was making her return to Georgia for the first time since playing for the Bulldogs in 2004-2005, before coming to TCU last year.

The Western team won its portion of the match for the third time this weekend. It tied in points 5-5, and won the tie-breaker in raw score 658-648.

TCU will take a two-week break before returning to action October 6 against Stephen F. Austin. The match will mark the Frogs' first home match of the new season.
