Columbia, South Carolina-TCU equestrian dropped to 0-2 on the season Saturday as they fell to South Carolina 11-8.

The news was not all bad for the Frogs as the Western team beat South Carolina 626.0-625.5 after tying in total points 5-5. TCU earned MVPs in both of the Western events as Kindel Huffman took the honors in Horsemanship, while Chloe Baker did the same in the Reining event.

Unfortunately for TCU, South Carolina showed its experience in the English events as the defending national champions won the English events 6-3. Freshman Juli Skobel earned a tie against South Carolina's Alex Haskell in the Equitation on the Flat event.

Freshman Jessica Hagen improved to 2-0 on the season as she defeated Nicole Bourgeois 74-73 in Equitation over Fences. Her win comes a day after she won her inaugural match in the Equitation on the Flat event.

The Frogs will finish up their three-day road trip Sunday afternoon, as they go to Georgia for the first-ever meeting between TCU and the Georgia Bulldogs.
