FORT WORTH, Texas-The TCU athletic department will be having a send off today at 12:45 p.m. outside the John Justin Athletic Center for the Equestrian team as they depart for Waco to compete in the National Championship.
The Lady Frogs will be sending their Western team which will consist of five members. The competitors include TCU points leader Carrie von Uhlit, TCU Female Athlete of the week for March 5, Kindel Huffman, as well as previous world champions Jessica Bailey, Chloe Baker and Nicole Barnes.
TCU will face off against South Carolina in the first round of the Western division. The Frogs faced the Gamecocks almost three weeks ago in Mansfield, and came up short in the Western competition, after tying in match points 4-4 but losing in total points 645.5-643.5.
The first round will start at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, at the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo Complex in Waco. All action can be followed on gofrogs.com
