FORT WORTH, Texas- Coming off a recent two-game home win streak, the TCU equestrian team (5-7) will look to make it three in a row on Saturday, as it travels to take on SMU (2-4) in Dallas. The Frogs are looking to even up the season series at one game apiece, after falling 6-5 in November, as a result of a pre-game penalty.

The game between the cross-town rivals, will comprise only of Hunt Seat events, Equitation over Fences and Equitation on the Flat. In the first meeting this season, all six Horned Frogs that competed went 1-1 in the two events.

Kindel Huffman, who received the #1 seed in Horsemanship at the Varsity Equestrian National Championship on Tuesday, will be competing in both events, along with fellow western rider Carrie von Uhlit. In the first meeting between the two schools, Huffman earned MVP honors in Equitation on the Flat with a score of 84.

Scheduled to compete for the Frogs will be Dallas native, MC Barr in Equitation over Fences. It will be the second time Barr has competed this season, her first coming against Delaware State as part of the Baylor Fall Tournament.

Following the game against SMU, the Frogs will close out the regular season against Texas A&M on April 4 in Mansfield, as a tune up for the Varsity Equestrian National Championships held April 17-19 in Waco, Texas.
