The Horned Frogs battled to a 2-2 draw in Horsemanship.

2011 Varsity Equestrian All-American

2010-11
Chown had one of the most successful junior campaigns in school history becoming the first ever student-athlete to be named a Varsity Equestrian All-American outright in Horsemanship ... The junior went 11-1-0 overall on the year and was ranked in the nation's top 5 for almost the entire 2010-11 season ... Won 11-straight matches and headed to nationals with a perfect 9-0-0 record before falling in her final outing of the season ... Overall, went 2-1-0 at nationals ... She also claimed three MVP accolades in 12 outings ... Was dominate from start to finish, winning 92 percent of her games on the year ... Earned MVP accolades against Georgia on March 12 after upending Michelle Fulcher, 74.5-73.5 ... Chown also won her first MVP award of the season with a 75.5-73 victory over Brittany Good of Delaware State on Jan. 30.

Competed in 14 Horsemanship and two Reining events ... She had an overall winning percentage of 63.5 ... Finished the season with an 11-4-1 record between Horsemanship and Reining ... Overall, she went 10-3-1 in Horsemanship, while also collecting three MVP accolades during the course of the season ... At nationals, Chown, who was the No. 6 seed in Horsemanship, helped TCU place fifth overall in the Western Division and fourth in the final team standings, which is the highest placing ever for a Horned Frog squad at nationals.
