Stewart had a solid first year on campus, going 6-6 overall in Reining with one MOP accolade ... Also posted a 2-4 overall record in Big 12 play ... Stewart had a banner October as she claimed the Big 12 Reining Rider of the Month ... The freshman continued her early season dominance in Reining, scoring the highest score among all competitors in defeating No. 4 Texas A&M's Laura Sumrall, 70.5-70 ... At the point in time she was 3-1 on the young season with one MVP honor ... Defeated K-State twice during conference play, including a road win where she defeated Jordan Cox, 69.5-68.5.

Stewart, who hails from Cave Creek, Ariz., will don the Purple and White this fall after collecting the 2011 AQHYA World and National Championship in Working Cowhorse ... She was also the 2011 AQHYA Reserve World Champion in Working Cowhorse as well as a 13 time finalists at the AQHYA World Show in Cowhorse, Cutting, Heading, Heeling and Breakaway ... Stewart, who also earned top-5 finishes at the World Show in Cutting and Intermediate, was the 2011 NRCHA World Champion in Youth Bridle ... The 2011 NRCHA Derby Youth Bridle Champion and Reserve Champion is a two-time High-Point Youth Roper on the Arizona Sun Circuit ... She has earned top five finishes at the NRCHA World Show in Youth Bridle three times.
