ABOUT THE GAME
One day removed from a 72-52 victory over Mississippi State, the TCU women's basketball team (2-1) faces one of its toughest challenges of the season when it takes on No. 7/8-ranked North Carolina (3-0) on Saturday in Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo, Mexico. It marks the Lady Frogs and Tar Heels' second and final games in the 2005 Caribbean Classic. North Carolina posted a 79-72 win against No. 16/14 Arizona State in its first game in Mexico. Saturday's contest marks the first of four consecutive games for TCU against teams currently ranked in the top 25 of both polls.

TCU VERSUS THE ATLANTIC COAST CONFERENCE
TCU owns an all-time record of 1-2 against teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Lady Frogs' record versus ACC teams breaks down like this: Duke 0-1, Florida State 1-0, Miami (Fla.) 0-1.
A CHANGE IN LOCATION
Thanks to a busy hurricane season that saw Wilma pound Cancun, Mexico, in October, the Caribbean Classic was forced to change locations. Luckily for TCU, North Carolina, Mississippi State, Arizona State, Baylor, California and Marshall, the tournament will still go on as planned in nearby Riviera Maya, which sits about 60 miles south of Cancun and is 10 miles from Playa del Carmen.
OUTSIDE THE STATES FOR THE FIRST TIME
TCU's win over Mississippi State on Nov. 25, 2005, marked the first time it played a game outside of the United States. Over the course of their history, the Lady Frogs have played in 33 different states. The 17 states TCU has yet to visit for a game are Alaska, Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
GOING FOR 10 WITH 10-PLUS
TCU junior guard Natasha Lacy has posted nine consecutive games with at least 10 points dating back to last season. Her averages during those games are 13 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.2 steals. Included in those games is two double-double efforts as well.
