ABOUT THE GAME

After three tough losses at the BTI Classic that included two games against top-25 opponents and an overtime loss to Arizona, the Lady Frogs (0-3) return to the friendly confines of Daniel-Meyer Coliseum (7,201) Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m. TCU will host Houston (0-2) in the Lady Frogs' home debut, which will jumpstart a stretch of six-straight home contests. TCU's first test will be a tough one as Houston leads the all-time series 26-8 against the Frogs, including wins in four of the last five contests. The countdown has started for senior Ashley Davis as she needs just one more 3-pointer to have the second-most treys in school history. Currently she is tied for second place with Amy (Sutton) Porter; the two of them have 161. The Purple and White, led by eighth-year TCU head coach Jeff Mittie, returns four starters from last year's team that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Junior guard Adrianne Ross, a preseason All-MWC selection, paces TCU with 18.3 points per game. Junior forward Lorie Butler-Rayford has recorded impressive numbers through the first three games of the season, averaging 11.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game. She has posted back-to-back double-doubles for the Lady Frogs.
