Coach Mittie appears on KFWD TV-52 Southwest Sports Talk with Josh Roe
The Horned Frogs tip off the 2006-07 season Nov. 5 with an exhibition conteset

With the start of the 2006-07 women's basketball season a little over a month away, eighth-year TCU head coach Jeff Mittie had the chance to talk about his squad to the entire Metroplex Thursday evening during halftime of the football game.

After all, big time programs deserve big time coverage.

Mittie, along with KFWD TV-52 Sports Talk host Josh Roe, chatted live on television about the upcoming season.

TCU returns a total of nine letterwinners, including four starters, from last year's team that went 19-12 (11-5 MWC). Senior forward Ashley Davis (honorable mention) and junior guard Adrianne Ross (third team) are returning all-MWC performers. The Lady Frogs have appeared in six straight NCAA Tournaments, the longest such streak by any school in the state of Texas.

The season tips-off Nov. 5 with an exhibition contest against Lake Truck Lines (WNBA).
