A Look Back At The 2010-11 Senior Class Part I

FORT WORTH, Texas - GoFrogs.com continues its look back at this past women's basketball season with the first installment of an in-depth look at the 2010-11 senior class.
During this week's look back, GoFrogs.com breaks down Helena Sverrisdottir's final season in what will be a two-part look at the Iceland native's final year in a Horned Frog uniform.
During this past season, Sverrisdottir became the first player in TCU history to amass 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists for her career. She will leave TCU as the program's all-time leader in assists and games started, while also ranking in the top three in points, rebounds, blocked shots, field goals made and attempted, free throws made, free throws attempted, assist average and games played.
A Look At Her Stat Lines
Overall, the senior closed her career in style as she recorded only the third triple-double in school history and second of her career in the opening round of the Women's NIT at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. Sverrisdottir, who moved into No. 2 all-time in career rebounds against Oral Roberts, finished the game with 16 points, 10 boards and 11 assists.
Prior to post-season competition, Sverrisdottir shot 43.8 percent from the field in conference, while scoring in double-figures in 10 of the 16 conference games. She also led the Horned Frogs in scoring five times against conference foes, which included three games over 20 points.
Overall, Sverrisdottir played her best against teams ranked or receiving votes in the top 25 this season. In eight games, Sverrisdottir averaged 16.8 points per game, 3.1 assists per game and 5.4 rebounds per game.
